Waste Stories from New College Lanarkshire - an exhibition of art produced by students at New College Lanarkshire - is now open to the public in the School of Education, St Andrews Building, University of Glasgow.

Waste and wasteful production and consumption are among the biggest sustainability challenges we face. The Waste Stories project, funded by the Leverhulme Trust and led by CR&DALL Director Anna Wilson, uses multimodal participatory creative fiction to help people see and think about waste differently. The project has been developing ideas about waste literacies and waste literature, and in this phase, students from 5 different classes at NCLAN produced visual and plastic arts that tell their own Waste Story.

The resulting work is now on display at in the Level 5 Gallery Space in the School of Education. The School and the gallery space are open to the public 10-5 from Friday 16th August to Friday 30th August.
