Study Abroad as Civic Engagement Tool: Longitudinal Evidence
This event, which is co-hosted by CRADALL and the COAST-R network, aims to bring together people with a range of expertise from local environmental groups to research chemists to waste professionals to think up new ways to deal with beached marine litter. It is an effort to synthesise place-based and specialist learnings and literacies to solve a global problem.

The Glasgow-Peking Symposium on Co-imagining Shared Futures of Higher Education in Diverse Contexts, Histories, Cultures, and Traditions will take place in Glasgow on 22nd/23rd July 2025. More details and Call for Contributions attached. Please note the deadline for abstract submission has been extended to 7th May.
The 2026 Researching Work and Learning International Conference will take place in Brisbane, Australia in December 2026. The conference theme is Researching lifelong learning and innovation for work in times of crisis - and although we might hope that by then we might not be facing so many crises, it's probably safest to assume the world will still be in flux.
