As part of the Festival of Social Science, CR&DALL members Geng Wang and Joyceline Alla-Mensah are organising an event focusing on young people's choices about training and upskilling in the informal sector.

This event explores how young people in the informal sector make choices about training and upskilling, the barriers they face, and how their experiences can shape better support from educators, employers, and policymakers. Through an animated story and interactive discussion, participants will share views, reflect on everyday learning, and consider how opportunities and risks in training affect young workers’ futures.
