The Annual Conference is the high point of the UALL year, and we are pleased that our 2016 Conference will be held at Rewley House, University of Oxford. I am pleased to attach the outline Conference Programme together with the Call for Papers (deadline 30 November):
Call for Papers and Proposals
The UALL Conference has a reputation for offering opportunities for practitioners and researchers to present their work to the academic community. Papers, abstracts and other proposals are invited on any of the strands of the conference theme. They may describe and discuss innovative developments and practice, and/or empirical or theoretical research. You are encouraged to take into account your own working context when submitting your proposals. Proposals are welcome from those working in different countries and learning contexts. Presenters will have the opportunity to submit full papers for consideration for publication. A selection of the Conference papers will be published in a special issue of the international journal Widening Participation and Lifelong Learning (Open University). Please send your proposal of no more than 300 words by 30 November 2015 to Lucy Bate at [email protected]
The event will start with an informal dinner on Wednesday evening, 16 March, followed by two days Conference and it will close at lunchtime on Friday, 18 March. The Drinks Reception, Conference Dinner and the presentation of the UALL 2016 Awards will take place in the 17th century Dining Hall at Trinity College.
The Registration Form is attached – please complete the form and return it to Helen Trevisani at: [email protected]
Of course, if you would like any further information, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
I very much look forward to hearing from you.
With best wishes,
Lucy
