We are very pleased that the PASCAL Observatory and its Learning Cities Networks, with their European centre hosted by CR&DALL at the University of Glasgow, are partners in the 2021 Global Learning Festival being organised from 8-11 November by the cities of Wyndham and Melton in Australia. Many of the member cities of the LCN are making contributions, including Medellin, Taipei, Wolverhampton and of course Wyndham itself.
This podcast is designed to bring together practitioners and policy makers to discuss the big issues of the day in relation to access, participation, success and social mobility.
We are delighted to announce the release of the Routledge volume on 'Global Citizenship for Adult Education: Advancing Critical Literacies for Equity and Social Justice', edited by Petra A. Robinson, Kamala V. Williams, and Maja Stovanovic. The volume comprises a collection of a groundbreaking projects in the field of youth and adult education, in which 43 scholars from Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America, and the United States, examine how to promote equity and social justice through global citizenship and lifelong learning, that integrates the development of critical literacies as integral to adult education.
