Staff Profile

Robert’s research is focused on aspects of the history of adult education in Scotland and the US. He is particularly interested in the contribution of adult education to social reform efforts and in the development and impact of learning cities. He is working with colleagues in CRADALL and in the Centre for Open Studies to develop University of Glasgow regional engagement activity.
