Summary biography: 

Agnieszka Bron, PhD is Professor Emeritus at the Stockholm University, the former Chair of Education, and previously the Chair of International Adult Education at the Bochum University, Germany. She has published extensively on subjects as higher education and comparative studies (blue-collar workers' access to post-secondary education, and non-traditional students) biographical learning (ethnicity, gender, informal learning and work), civil society and active citizenship. Among other she is a co-founder of the European Society for Research in the Education of Adults (ESREA).
