Dr Alan Britton is Impact Evaluator for the IDEAS (International Development Education Association of Scotland) project Teach Global Ambassadors Project during the period 2013-2016, and funded by the EC. This is an educational initiative to enhance systems-wide capacity in multinational contexts around education and development. 

This Comenius multilateral project within the EC's LLP involved five participating countries (Greece, Italy, Poland, Turkey and the UK).

The main aims of the Portfolio of Integration (POI) project were to test and validate the Notebook of Integration in different national contexts and to adapt the particular content to such contexts. The Notebook itself is an observational and evaluative toolkit originally developed by Oxfam Italia to enhance teachers’ knowledge skills and pedagogy in order to improve the educational integration of migrant/new arrival school students.

The new project started in November 2013, funded under the EC's LLP, Erasmus Multilateral Partnerships aims to study the TLL strategies of higher education institutes to improve the quality of work of learners and the quality of their work performance.
